How to automate internal chain management
Recently, I have been sharing some experience in the creation of external links. In fact, this part of the content is not difficult, and the focus is on hands-on practice. So today's article talks about how to automate internal chains, or in other words, how to manage the internal chain structure of large-scale content reasonably.
The pain points of internal chain creation
For large amounts of content, it is not easy to manage the matching of anchor text and links. There are two main reasons. One is that there is a large amount of content, which is very troublesome to manage. The second is that anchor text is not so simple. Sometimes an article can find dozens of anchor texts casually, and some articles with acceptable content length can even create dozens of anchor texts.
It is based on the above two considerations that the creation and management of internal chains is not so simple. So recently, I have been thinking about whether there is a more reasonable and faster way to create and manage internal chains.
internal chain management
Option 1: Internal chain management during content creation
The logic is very simple. In summary, it is to make a spreadsheet and organize the links to all the content of the website. After this part of the work is done, list the corresponding content of each link and list the keywords you think are suitable. Then next time you create new content, search for the anchor text keywords you listed to see if they appear in the new content. If they do, add an internal link to the anchor text.
The advantage of this method is that it is relatively simple, and it can manage the update and maintenance of the internal link of the website through an Excel table. But the disadvantage is also obvious, that is, the maintenance and update of data is very troublesome, and the anchor text keywords that the brain comes up with are limited, which will further limit the internal link structure of the website.
Option 2: Internal chain management after content creation is completed
The logic is basically the same as the first method, but the process of creating the internal chain is more intelligent, or more AI. Let's briefly talk about the basic steps, and the specific scripts and plugins will be sorted out and placed on the planet.
The first step is to copy all the content links from the sitemap.xml file of the website, and then use AI tools to analyze all these links, allowing AI tools to help you organize each piece of content with as much anchor text information as possible.
Of course, this specific method of analyzing content anchor text can use some data analytics tools in addition to AI tools. For example, free tools include Google's keyword planner, and paid tools are even more. As for which tool to choose, you need to decide according to your own situation and the situation of the website.
When you have the content and its anchor text data, the second step is to organize the data to clean the data. Not to mention the collation, it is simply to present the data according to certain rules. Data cleaning focuses on data deduplicate and specific character processing.
After all the information is sorted out, all that is left to do is to check all the content of the website through the plug-in program according to the rules we sorted out "anchor text keywords - corresponding links". When there are keywords, they will be automatically added to the internal link.
The above two internal chain management methods, choose the one that suits you. Generally, my suggestion is that when there is not much content on the website, you can use Excel management.
No matter which way you choose, it takes a certain amount of time and effort to realize the automatic management of the internal chain. But through a reasonable internal chain structure, the SEO effect and user experience of the website can be improved, which is worth trying and exploring.
To sum up, the automated management of the internal chain can be achieved through the internal chain management during the content creation process or the internal chain management after the content creation is completed. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages, and the suitable method needs to be selected according to the size and needs of the website. No matter which method is selected, it needs to invest time and effort to organize and clean data, as well as use the corresponding internal chain management plug-ins. But through a reasonable internal chain structure, the SEO effect and user experience of the website can be improved, which is worth us trying and exploring.
